My New Love.
As a bit of a break from all the New Year-related festivities, I thought I would post about my new obsession: LEGO.
I've wanted Harry Potter lego sets for some time. I've always loved building things and playing make-believe with doll house-type constructions. The bigger the construction, the better. So I asked the family for Harry Potter lego for Christmas.
My father has obliged, apparently, and I can expect to receive Diagon Alley in the next month or so, because it has to be shipped from America.
And that's the thing. This obsession could not really have come at a worse time, because the Harry Potter lego lines have been discontinued. Argh! So I decided to look around this morning, and I found The Burrow being sold for considerably less than I would have thought it would be, with only one left in stock. So I said goodbye to any chances of indulging in expensive takeaways next month and bought it. And I am so happy about it.
I need to keep an eye out, since these sets are basically collectibles of the future.
All right, end of gushing happening now.
