It's not fixed, not quite, but it's better. They've spent most of the day in bed (even Honour deigned to get up on the bed with them) but now it's time to go looking for Luna. Because it's no more her fault than it was Ed's, and he loves her as much as he loves Ed, but in a different way, and that means that he can't let that go on any more

Even if things are better with Draco, Luna is still in a state of utter dismay, and had been allowing herself another day of wallowing. She goes to the door automatically, without thinking, before it occurs to her who's calling her name.

Her face goes hot and cold at the same time.

"Hello, Charlie."

"Hello, Luna," says Charlie, standing with one shoulder against the doorframe and looking up at her through his hair hanging in his eyes. Honour nudges at his hand and Charlie looks down at him.

"We thought we'd come and say 'hi'."

Luna's been staring at the ground but she looks up, folding her arms around herself. "Charlie, I'm sorry," she says, the words tumbling out. "I don't know how it happened, and I'm sure Edmund told you about it, and I'm so sorry."

She tries to make herself smaller and smaller.

"Stop it, Luna," says Charlie and he's always been a nice kid, but there's a little steel in his voice right then. He means it. "It was...Island shit, and I've talked about it all with Ed, and I'm so tired of talking about it."

His mouth quirks.

"I miss you."
