I shouldn’t have said anything and I knew that at the time. I didn’t have to, I didn’t even really want to…but when you’re at the very mother fucking bottom, when your entire world has betrayed your and turned away from you, when everything you thought you had turns out to be something completely different…you get over the fact that what you do and say has consequences, because you’ve got nothing left to lose. There is nothing left that I could possibly be risking with this. There is no hope. There is no pride. There is no dignity.
