Snake was walking back from the bar to where he had left his bike parked when he had that feeling he was being followed. The feeling was nothing new and he kept a look out for who was on his tail. Snake didn't see anyone but he knew they were there.
Ellie crept along behind Snake a little bit further, she had to be certain it was the right person before she showed herself. Rather confident she had the right person, it took all her effort to force herself out of the relative safety of the shadows.
She stood rather defiantly, in the light. "Snake?" She asked rather cautiously.
"If I didn't make a noise would you have reacted any different?" Ellie shrugged, she'd been shot before and though she had no big desire to repeat the process, she didn't really fear it either.
