Is it okay to get water on the incision, i am 1 week and 3 days post partum and they have already removed the staples, i was just wondering if i can take regular showers now cuz for the past week i have been taking sponge baths cuz i wasnt sure if it would be okay to get water or soap around the incison.

With my c-sections I was told no baths until I cleared it with my doctor at my two week check up and told to shower and gently clean over my incision with soap and water...but I'm not sure since you said you had staples removed...I didn't have that...I had dissolvable stiches.
