It's a girl!

I went to my first OB/GYN appointment today (first for the pregnancy, also, first in my life. o_O). The nurse was really nice -- a very friendly, happy Hispanic lady who asked me some questions, took my blood pressure (it was good), and gave me a gift bag with a TON of random stuff in it. I'm 18 weeks. Mostly, I was working constantly and I waited a long time to tell my parents that I was pregnant, so it was hard to go through their insurance without telling them why I needed the money for the co-pay.

Hee. The gift bag was awesome.

Aww, congratulations! My daughter's name is Sydney too! Only, spelled different. Sydney Lyn(Lyn after my mommy). Haha, and I too am jealous, bc I most definitely did NOT get a gift bag. All I got was a lousy folder with a bunch of papers in it. Bah.
