Like what the other user said, try to be more careful in the future. I don't think the smoking nor the alcohol would have affected greatly because you only drank one and half glasses of wine and I'm assuming you stopped smoking already. I don't know much about the xanax though.

Yahoo! Health says:
Alprazolam is in the FDA pregnancy category D. This means that alprazolam is known to be harmful to an unborn baby. Do not take this medication without first talking to your doctor if you are pregnant or could become pregnant during treatment.
Alprazolam is the drug name rather than the brand name.

MedlinePlus Drug Info says:Pregnancy-Chlordiazepoxide and diazepam have been reported to increase the chance of birth defects when used during the first 3 months of pregnancy. Although similar problems have not been reported with the other benzodiazepines, the chance always exists since all of the benzodiazepines are related ( ... )

I've heard that drinking during pregnancy harms the baby wayyy more if you do it like, RIGHT when you get pregnant more so then later on, I've also heard that if you slip up and drink a glass while your pregnant and further along it shouldn't harm the baby, smoking probably won't leave any effects because you are so far along and didn't do it that much. The pills however are a different story, you really need to tell your doctor about this, especially because you are depressed, and after having a baby you are at risk for the "baby blues". If you are upset now, they will definatally need to get you on anti depresants afterwards unless you are breastfeeding.

I am not a part of this group but I feel for you so much, and I wanted to confirm what was just said. I am a graduate student studying the effects of certain drugs and alcohol on the fetus, so hopefully I can be insightful. Obviously, it is safer to not drink while you are pregnant, the same with smoking or anything. But as with caffeine, exercise, and a lot of other things, if it is only done on occasion, and in moderation this will NOT cause any permanent problems. A couple of cigarettes, or a glass of red wine will not have enough of an impact to lead to any of the brain problems associated with binge drinking, and smoking. Also, like rabidslipsnap said these things are FAR more harmful at the beginning of your pregnancy. At 31 weeks your baby is certainly devloped enough to handle these things in small amounts. This is not to say I am advocating any of these things, and it is great that you are worrying about what is best (a lot of people in your situation give up). I cannot imagine what you are going through but I want you to ( ... )

I agree with most the comments above. Seems everyone has a different opinion on what would harm baby the most, if any, but I think i'd rather play it safe than sorry. Try your hardest to quit it all again. I know that you're going through a lot and it's got to be rough, but think of your baby. You're not a terrible person, you're just a person that had a little slip up because you're stressed out to the max. Try finding something, anything (within reason) that makes you feel relaxed and takes your mind off of everything, if even for only an hour or two. Good luck, and stay strong!
