meh... I really enjoyed it, but I have a pretty high suspension of disbelief when it comes to sci-fi. The trial was sorta bullshit, but its not a law show, and made a point of essentially stating that fact during the trial itself... and I dont think the message was really "dont convict because everyone does bad things", but "dont hold one man to be the scapegoat for atrocities committed by an entire group, including ourselves"... just stated in a rather over-dramatic fashion. But its pretty much an over-dramatic show, so Im accustomed to it. It kinda makes sense tho... he wasnt trying to prove baltars innocence... he was trying to declare a mistrial based on the obvious prejudice of their legal system. I think the writers probably discussed "ok... do we want to make this a long, drawn out trial with lots of legal bullshit and intrigue, or do we just end it quick and dirty with a speech by an important character regarding how the whole trial was a farce from the beginning" and decided on the second, because it pretty much fits the

i saw anders coming, and to a lesser extent, chief (i was actually thinking Callie) Ty doesn't make sense, he story puts him in the first war with adama. also, adama couldn't be cylon, he has two kids. the president's aide is kind of a throw away... nobody really even really know her name. at work some of us were betting on billy coming back, which would have been brilliant. but i really think we need to address if some of these people really ARE cylons. and up until starbuck returned, i would have said yes. but the only thing we have is 4 people who all heard the same music. and starbuck can't be(well, probably isnt) a cylon cause a> that would make 6, and B>well, ok.... i dont have a b. anyway, just me thoughts. the pres, deff, the other 4? i'm betting on some form of liberation force.
