a Somber day

Today was a very sad day. Today, September 30th, 2005, American Video announced it's closure and began the liquidation of it's videos. It's shelves of vidoes are now bundled into cardboard boxes, Piled up behind the desk. Our video home and beloved hangout is no more. The AV horror section ceases to be. This is too heartbreaking to comprehend. If the fucking Starbuck's moves in where *American Video* used to be I am going to set it on fire. I'm sorry, it's hard to type with tears in your eyes. And I second Erin's motion that we do something really drastic as a last-ditch attempt to save it.

Announcement:
Today I came in to work and discovered, to my horror, that someone has bought almost all the Full Moons/ Wizards, and I'm sorry Erin, but almost all the Fraggles. I didn't have anything good to watch either, so I painfully watched "The Longest Yard" for ten minutes, before sticking my face into the shrinkwrap melter in agony. I'm trying to get out of work next Sunday, but all effort seems to be in vain. I will keep trying though.
