What is this? I'm full of feelings.

Eric!

Skars. I don't know what he does exactly, but its something with the eyes, like the way he squints, and you just know its Eric. WELCOME BACK, BB! *throws confetti*

Replying to my own comment, I know...

BUT DID YOU FEEL IT TOO?

AHHH, THAT GIF!!!

And his voice too, there's something in his voice.

That look on his face when it all came flooding back and he and Sookie just stared at each other (and Bill nearly rolled his eyes before walking off) that nearly did me in! SO GOOD! THANK GOD!

I don't really care about Sookie still loving Bill - yet - because I guess they had to think of something to keep her and Eric apart if Eric gets to remember everything.

HE TOLD HER HE LOVES HER.

BEST EPISODE EVER. (OK, this year.)

Nobody could make me cry for Tommy's death but Nancy Oliver. My writer fangirl love is so, so strong right now. :D

- The villain suddenly got a little interesting

- Tara was a sympathetic, rational character, for a pleasant change

- Jesus has a demon, who knew? o.O

- Lafayette/Jesus ♥omg

- Andy and Terry :D!

- Sookie and Jason

- Sookie and Eric and Bill, oh my!

- Eric and Pam!

- Bill vs Nan

- Bill and Nan and Eric and Pam and Jessica, LMAO

- Jason and Jessica and Hoyt

- That ending! Just this side of cheese, how I love it!

This is as coherent as I can be right now, but this episode was SO worth the wait! It's like it suddenly became a decent show again. \o/

And and and...ugh, The Conversation - could it really be better? Not sure how I feel about the new/old Eric combo, but the lines! ("Can't you see him in my eyes?" *dies*) And the John Wayne "well, they picked the wrong horse" was fantastically Old Eric. *loves*

SO MUCH YES in this episode. That will be all.

...I think. :)

I KNOWWWW. Funny how that coincided with normal!Eric.

I flooved that Sookie and Lafayette, Jason and Jesus actually tried to DO SOMETHING. It was so nice to see them together.

And I was really upset by Tommy's death too (though "he has a right to choose his time" really?)

Eric and Pam! And the eyebrow tilt she gave Sookie when she realised Sookie had fucked with Eric's head again was a thing of beauty.

And and The Conversation. I thought I would be irritated if he did remember it all and Sookie was not actually the one pining for a change, but it, well, worked? And more importantly they did not vilify Eric as soon as he became his old self again but they actually made Sookie look like an indecisive bitch. And he admitted he loves her without even blinking! GAH!

I know! Can't help but contrast them with the four at the end...I wonder, was that intentional? Interesting, in any case - and fun, right up until everyone but Jason disappeared (couldn't help but LOL @ that).

though "he has a right to choose his time" really?

Yeah, but at the same time, it seemed very much Alcide (at least in TV-verse), I thought. Pointless, but...yeah, Alcide.

I absolutely loved the split-second transformation from needy-weepy-child Pam back to Pam the Bitch, and yeah, the eyebrow was fantastic. :)

And more importantly they did not vilify Eric

Yes, exactly! Not that I don't want the old bastard back, but him being a rational, mature, loving, honest combination of both sides was a thing of beauty, and not framing Sookie as the abused innocent was a beautiful respite...though I doubt it will last. It'll be fun to see where this is headed...

Jessica's "as long as I get to kill shit" line was the funniest thing ever. I played that scene back a couple of times just to relish in its awesomeness.

Also, Eric: They're Doing It Right. :D I'm glad he remembers everything and that he declared his love for her like it's the most natural thing in the world. That's Eric Effing Northman we're talking about! FYEAH. (So unimpressed with Sookie's infatuation with Bill redux, though. Mostly because the concept alone bores the life out of me by this point.)

Hi, I think I started reading your fics a long time ago, but have not friended you until... um, the other day. :) Love your reviews though.

I too, have many feelings about this episode!

AM I IN SEASON 5 OF BUFFY?

LOL. It's probably pretty telling that season five was my favorite season of Buffy, and I loved the Vampire A-Team thing at the end of this ep. Sometimes, I just like to appreciate the cheese. Why fight it?

I actually liked the conversation a lot. I love that Eric has all of his memories back, and that the two of them have an honest conversation about how they're feeling. Could you ever imagine Sookie and Bill having a conversation like that? AND ERIC SAID HE LOVES HER. Screw everything else, that was worth the price of admission.
