i LOVE the good wife. So much. It's well-written, well-acted, and the lawyering is actually not way off base. because law school has kind of ruined law procedurals for me...

I don't know if it's because I'm watching them all in a row and the flaws are less noticeable that way, but it really is amazingly written. And the cases are actually engaging. What I really enjoy is the fact that not one character is just an out and out good guy or an out and out bad guy. Like Cary, for example, would be a two dimensional villain on any other show, but here he has layers and I like him. And Alicia isn't afraid to do unethical things but she has a moral centre too. Even Peter isn't hateable.
