interesting, id just like to say i think the idea of extremists targetting the US, or the west in general, in order to "move up in the world" is ridiculous. if that is their intention then theyre even stupider than i previously though. rather than seeking to bring harm to other peoples why dont they instead try to improve themselves?

case in point- japan post 1945
a devastated and war torn nation with very few natural resources, no oil, minerals etc etc. that has managed to ressurrect itself into the 2nd largest economy in the world. while retaining their own cultural identity.

unlike middle eastern nations, which are abundant in oil and gold, but hate themselves too much to want to improve their situation.

maybe i should post my 'development applications report' assignment on here. i finished it today, at 7 pages long. so i think not haha
