I love award season. I'm usually pretty good at predicting oscar winners, although not typically this far away. In any case, I'm gunna give it a go just for fun. I'll try again in a month.

Best Picture: The King's Speech
If not TKS, then it'll be TSN

Director: Hooper, TKS
If not Hooper, then Fincher

Actor, Lead: Colin Firth, TKS

I haven't seen any of these except Inception but I think you're probably right about most of them, if buzz is to be believed. IDK about Inception winning screenplay though-- depends on what it's up against, I guess. Inception's buzz has pretty much died, so I don't know if it'll be able to pull out any wins.

Coming back to this: whatever happened to The Town's buzz? Did it get nominated for any Globes?

it got nom'd by GG and SAG for supporting actor, jeremy renner and that's it.

i've heard less than steller things about it, tbh.
