I can’t recall anyone ever dismissing a portion of our audience as unimportant.

Except anyone who's ever expressed dissatisfaction with the show.

Heh. True -- but she was referring to Brat Wright's very early-on interview where he said flat out that SGA's viewers were too old, and hinted that they were too female. He went on to praise the young male demographic that SGU would attract. This is the same reason Angel: the Series was canceled! Nobody loves us older fangirls!
