FA LA LA LA LA, people! I hope you all have been having a lovely holiday long-weekend! I spent Christmas Eve day and Christmas with my mom in Brooklyn -- saw the family, made nice with my sister, had a lovely dinner; no stress, no strife. I've been following bethynyc's exact opposite saga, being at her brother's in Boston with her bus back here cancelled.

M. couldn't get to work on Monday, because there was basically *no* subway service out to Prospect Park (ironic since he was going in to dig out the park). He was ok by the next day, but I can imagine the farther from Manhattan, the longer it took.

Actually, the F train was running Tuesday, because that's how I got to work. So were the 2 and 3 trains. But the local buses weren't running and neither were the express buses.

They had actually plowed 18th Avenue today, and I got a local bus to the subway so I wasn't plowing my way through snow drifts.

Glad you were able to get home, though!!
