WORD OF ADVICE FROM A UPS EMPLOYEE:DO NOT. I repeat, DO NOT, ship pot through the UPS systems. WE WILL find it. Pot does have a distintive smell you know. Not only that, if you want to cover UP said smell. .try something more effective then gummy bears ( Read more... )

Yep. After 9/11, it got stricter. If the package is damaged, or suspicion of illegal activity or just plain out suspicion of SOMETHING, then we can open it.

Once you sign off on the package, UPS has POA on it.

But, only supervisors and high value clerks are allowed to open a suspicious package.

That's kinda creepy.

I think only police should be allowed to open packages with a warrant...

But whatever. It's not like I'm sending illegal things through UPS..
