Some whore bag stole my fucking icons. The RIP / Only the Good Die Young icon that I spent quite a bit a time on. I'm HEATED dude. This is the first time it's happened to me.

Even worse? She didn't claim to make the other icons, but as for mine? It says, "hey look. i actually made one!"

hey guys.... this site was here just so everybody could get some NASCAR icons... something that i really enjoy.... i wanted them for a long time and finally found a place on livejournal where they were... i knew that there were people out there JUST like me that wanted the icons so i decided i would share them with you.... BUT i made some people really mad on livejournal by makin this site... they obviously didnt want to share their icons with anyone else... so they deleted them so no one else could see it... i guess i didnt give them enough credit... sorry... but until my girl linda can start making them and we can use hers ... the site is temporarily down... sorry!

I wish I wouldn't have. I have a Xanga account, I could comment on her page, but I wouldn't know what to say since I missed it all. Most of the icons I use, I didn't make. The one I would have been horribly pissed about is the one I'm using right now, since I took that picture and made the icon. Oh, hell, I'd be pissed if anyone took any of the icons I use without permission. *kicks her in the shin*

I saw that. Fucking A. There was no icon that said "Junebug" there. Sorry. Not gonna fly. The others were the same, and my icon was the ONLY one that was different. It was a GIVEN that mine was the one that she was talking about. LOL.

And with good reason. I mean just the fact that she was hotlinking from LJ servers and stealing peoples (especially Kim's) personal icons is bad enough but to take them elsewhere to other journals and post them for all the world to have at is beyond wrong!

I really appreciate the heads-up regarding the individual on Xanga who stole my icons. It seems there are a lot of thieves on Xanga lately; folks have been hot-linking images on my mikeypower.com site too. I just cannot get over icon thieves! Looks like this Laura Elizabeth deleted whatever she stole. BTW, which icons of mine did she take? I haven't even given people permission to use the icons I use (I've made others that people are welcome to use with credit), and this little imbecile didn't even credit.

Sometimes, I do checks of my own to see if people are bandwidth stealing or using icons without permission. When I do, I'll keep an eye out for people stealing yours too now. Thanks!

No problemo! Like I said, I'm a graphic maker too and it sucks to have your hard work put to shame because someone refuses to credit you, and then hotlink them.

I actually found the Mikey and Macy one on her own personal journal. You have go A BUNCH of pages back. I didn't find it at first last night, but then I went back today and found it. I recognized it instantly because I know you're the only one I've seen with it.

Thanks for the look out! MUCHO appreciate it. I have to use geocities to host, and they're not exactly generous when it comes to bandwidth. LOL.

I knew someone from Xanga was hotlinking, but the problem with Xanga is that you can't find who specifically is stealing your bandwidth. I wish there were some way to disable Xanga sites from ever using my images. I pay for bandwidth for my mikeypower.com site, and that can really kill it!

Graphic makers need to watch each other's backs - watch out for these thieves!
