Cranky Tyler

That's the thing... I'll meet his demands if it's reasonable. But sometimes it's not. I don't want him to think that the whole world revolves around him and that he can get everything when he cries or whines. Normally I can use distraction to get his attention, but sometimes he's just impossible to tame down no matter what.

You are right, all kids are different. Wow! I'm surprise at your change of stand on spanking as disciplinary tool. I think that will be my last resort haha.

Naia's starting her terrible-twos behaviour too! So frustrating! Just started time-outs but I don't think she quite "gets it" cus she thinks it's a fun game. Grrr ( ... )

I thought it was night terror too cos ty was behaving the same way when he was less than a year old back then. But now I don't think it's night terror cos the second night he started crying, he was clearly awake and started demanding things and acting really cranky. I think he's just over tired and maybe still adjusting to going to new routines. Anyway we tried putting him to bed earlier and he has been sleeping well the past few nights (*cross fingers*)

Haha I can imagine how frustrating it is if Naia treats time-out as a game. Good Luck!
