The Hunt Continues and other miscellaneous updates

Well, I made contact with the people who wanted to interview me, made the interview, and nailed it. Knocked it out of the park. Was very prepared for salary negotiations the next day. And didn't get it. Bummer. I've gotten a couple of other phone calls and rejection letters, so my hopes of making the transition this year are rapidly fading.

I'm sorry your admin. interviews haven't panned out. You're a better person than I...I have no aspirations to administration. I have been thinking that if I decide I don't want to be in the classroom anymore, I might look into becoming a school Librarian or Speech Pathologist.

I know what you mean. I left my room area an absolute disaster. I have to move, for the first time in 7 years, and it's a mess. I didn't want to start for a couple of weeks, but the custodians started hurrying me into moving furniture. Then I had to leave, and it's just all sitting in the middle of the floor. It would be one thing if it were a classroom with walls and a door I could shut, but our building just doesn't have them.
