I don't seem to be doing so well at Writing in the evenings any more. We used to put Nolan down, then I would do dishes, write an LJ post, and then Kirby and I would watch TV. Funny, I was staring out the window at this rain, then glanced at the kitchen table and had the urge to throw a blanket over it and create a fort... nostalgia is an individual thing I guess. ;)

Interesting. For me it's doing things I remember my parents doing. A sort of "I'm doing this right" type of feeling. Like walking through the rain to the garage to cut something on the table saw. Even though we only had a detached garage until I was 5 or so.
