The remodel has overstayed it's welcome. More specifically, the plumber has. He seems like a good enough guy, but I'm not sure he's used to this scale of work. He's replacing all the water lines in the house as well as plumbing in a new bathroom. This whole post scares the crap out of me. We are in the planning and hiring stage of remodeling the bathroom. Even the plan is going to cost more than we estimated.

Sorry, didn't mean to pass the stress on to anyone else, but my cup overfloweth.
How can planning cost more than you expected? Planning is the fun and free part!

I was going to tell you to do the work yourself, but setting a new tub is not something I would attempt myself. Everything else in the bathroom is fair game though!

We are doing everything else ourselves...well, my brother is doing the floors and helping Justin put the toilet in.
