Still working on the basement. I've got the insulation in, but have a couple things to button up and then I'm ready for an inspection on that. After that is drywall and a final inspection, things are definitely starting to wrap up. At the same time, I'm feeling terrible about it taking so long, and about the near in-habitable state of our house

Don't feel bad. You probably would have gotten 10 times this amount of work done on the house if I didn't complain every time you try.

I have the same dream, and I'm positive we will get downtown eventually.
