In late summer I was having no problems getting back and forth to the new job. Travel times on the way there were 20 minutes or so, on the way home closer to 30 or 35. My mythtv plan backfired. The second computer didn't recognize the hard drive, so I wasn't able to do anything, but then I found out that even though I as unable to ssh in, it apparently was up and running because the second computer had been able to connect to the mysql server. Now that's down too.

Oops.

I guess if I'm going to actually brew beer I'm going to have to break it into smaller steps. Step one, figure out what I need. Of course, I'm far too cheap to walk into a brew shop and let them point me to what I need. Instead I'll do a little research. Step two, shop ( Read more... )

This weekend, we got the closets framed out in the basement. It doesn't sound like much, but it's pretty much like making two small rooms, with lots of little things to consider. The pool table is up online. If you know anyone wanting this beauty you should send 'em my way. Last night I went and measured the other portion of the basement.
