I had a nice day out today. Got up, went into Manhattan, had a bowl of pho for lunch at Pho 32, went across the river to Brooklyn (after rather more hilarity than I expected; I always forget how much maintenance the MTA does on the weekends and doesn't really go out of its way to tell you about), and visited the Transit Museum, which was much more ( Read more... )

I'm probably not so much of a train-nerd, but I found the MTA pretty interesting. I wish I'd got out to the museum while I was in Manhattan, as trains are kind of an insanely important part of the whole culture in that area.

you're so cute and lovable!

clearly, there is only one thing to do: you must start wearing a hat while helping a subway-station full of young mothers with their homework.

i can poke you about apartment-hunting, if you like. actually, i'll do it even if you don't like. see, i don't have enough in my own life to worry about, so i'll worry about your life, too! what a deal, eh? ;)
