Jayne and River dance beautifully together.

This is a birthday fic for literarylemming that turned into a monster. It's a little departure from what I've seen in some other Rayne fics. Hope you enjoy it, darling.

( His hand is dark against her pale skin and he doesn't know why he's touching her, only that he has to. She's soft, somehow he'd known she'd be, and her hair falls across his knuckles when she leans into his touch. )
