Taking Him - (2/2)
Jayne/River
R
Jayne and River dance beautifully together.
This is a birthday fic for
literarylemming that turned into a monster. It's a little departure from what I've seen in some other Rayne fics. First part found
here. "Jayne. Jayne. Jayne." She murmurs relentlessly against his mouth.
His grip tightens along her thigh as she rocks against him, and Jayne's breath catches in his throat when her hip brushes his.
"She'll take care of you." River says, pulling back to look up at him. "Just as you take care of her." She grinds against him slowly and Jayne watches her as she does it.
The way she looks at him, like she wants to tear him apart, how she practically dares him to glance away, that small smile on her face letting him know she's toying with him and they're both loving every minute of it.
"I take care of you?" He asks, and it doesn't come out as menacing and demanding as he hoped. In fact, he sounds downright breathless and desperate.
River works a hand between them and tugs his belt open.
"Wanted and needed and worshiped..." she mutters. He feels her free hand slide up his neck to brush against his temple. "...here." Then she slips her other hand beneath his waistband and rubs her palm against his cock. "You want me, Jayne." She says and he gasps. "You want me forever and ever. You want me to belong to you."
"Hells below, little girl." Jayne moans. "You're makin' no sense and all kinds at the same time." His eyes open slowly and his hands pull her tighter against him. "You know you got me twisted up inside 'cause I want you so much."
River wriggles in his embrace, looking very pleased with herself. "Take me to your bunk." She says suddenly, fire in her eyes. "I need you inside of me."
Jayne's eyes narrow. "Christ...I'll end up having you right here if you don't stop talkin' like that."
River cranes her neck to place a kiss against his chin before pulling away, hands dropping to his waist to tug on his belt buckle.
"Hurry. Now." She only says those two words but Jayne follows her out of the cargo bay like he's a gorram puppy.
The corridors are dark, strangely deserted, and Jayne begins to wonder if River had known this.
She stops at the door, pushing the ladder down and pausing to look at him over her shoulder.
Jayne growls and moves forward, pinning her there. She surprises him completely when she grinds back against him.
"Ta ma de..."
"You've got manparts." She murmurs randomly. "You said you'd show me."
His nose nuzzles the back of her neck, inhaling the rainwater scent of her hair. "'Course." He rumbles. "I got to if I plan on sexin' you up."
River giggles and drops down into his room, barely touching the ladder.
Jayne slumps against the top rung and has to take a few deep, shaky breaths.

His boots make two loud thumps when he finally reaches the bottom and River's standing right in front of him, hands clasped behind her back. The picture of innocence, like she hadn't had her hand down his pants only moments ago.
"This is wrong." He tells her with an honest shrug of his shoulders. "You an' me."
River shakes her head vehemently, her long hair flying about her shoulders. "I've done the equations. Checked my math." She mumbles. "River plus Jayne equals perfection."
She sways forward and he's suddenly worried that she's drifted off into her own head again. She slumps against him.
"Thinkin' about it too much, little girl." He scolds gently, pressing a kiss into the curtain of her hair. "You gotta feel it. Sense it. All the gorram thinkin' in the 'verse ain't gonna tell us nothin' unless it's magic when we kiss."
River tilts her head back. "Make magic, Jayne. Make me glow."
Jayne kisses her soundly.

She kneels there, on the edge of his bed, and beckons him closer. She makes a lovely picture and he wants to remember the image of her on his sheets forever.
He's drawn toward her, a pull somewhere near his stomach. He just has to know if she can make good on all those promises.
Jayne's hands stay at his sides and River leans closer to him, nose nudging the center of his chest. She moves slowly, with purpose, trying to brush her lips across the span of his shoulders and when they meet the bare skin at the base of his neck, Jayne whimpers for the second time.
River lays her head on his shoulder. "You must touch her before she flies apart."
Jayne doesn't need to be told twice. His hands slide against her arms, moving across her back to hold her close. "You're not going' anywhere, darlin'." He growls reassuringly.
She buries her face in his neck, teeth nipping as she presses against him. Her hands slide around his waist and she's tugging his shirt free from his pants, raking her nails across his back. His own hands have tangled in the thin material of her dress and he pulls the straps loose from her shoulders letting it fall down to her waist before he steps back to let her toss his t-shirt across the room.
That first touch of her bare skin on his is heavenly and Jayne pulls her back to him now, more than ever, determined not to let her go. Ever.
She wriggles the rest of the way out of her dress and steps out of it before climbing back into his embrace.
He settles them both down on the narrow bed. He's aching to be inside her and if the way she's clinging to him is any indication, she's aching for that too.
"Tell me you want me." She commands, stretching out beneath him.
"I want you, girl." He says immediately, delighting in her squeal of pleasure.
"Tell me you belong to me."
He fumbles with his belt before finally pulling it off and wrenching open his zipper. "I'm all yours."
River places her palms on either side of his face, forcing him to meet her gaze, his eyes finally stopping their wandering journey of her body.
"Tell me you love me." She whispers fiercely.
"River..." His voice cracks desperately, rushed in the use of her name. "You know I love you."
He can't lie to her, she can seen any and everything in his head, and even if that weren't so, he'd say it anyway.
River wraps her arms around his neck, fingers sliding through his hair.
Jayne settles between her thighs, shivering when their bellies slide together.
"Now. Nownownownow." River mutters, kissing across his nose and cheeks. "It must be now."
Jayne slides a hand along her hip and down her leg, hooking her knee over his waist. "Easy, baby." He whispers soothingly, pushing into her in one fluid movement.
He's trying to catch his breath, mind reeling from the feeling of simply being inside of her, but she yanks on his hair and rolls her hips.
"Harder." She's already demanding.
He's pretty sure the entire ship just heard him groan.

It doesn't last long, he hadn't expected it would, the both of them so wound up.
River's all breathy gasps and smiles beneath him and when his thrusts become stuttered she accepts the sloppy kisses he smears along her jaw, happily.
They shudder, and then sigh together, leaving silence in their wake.
Jayne tries not to crush her and ends up slumping half on top of her, half on the mattress.
River cradles his head against her chest. "My Jayne. Told you that you were. Now you know it."
"Mmmhhhmmm." He murmurs in agreement, fingers curling over her hip possessively. "My River."
