And I Go
PG-13
Bruce, Clark...I suppose Bruce/Clark if you squint real hard. ;)
This is a little ficlet set during Superman Returns. As soon as Gotham was mentioned as a place Superman was seen, I couldn't stop thinking "OHMYGOD Batman!" So, yeah. Here it is.
By the way, this is all
savvy_elf's fault. ;)
(
There was an innocence about Clark's face just then. The pure, unwavering innocence of someone that wanted to believe that there was good in everyone, but deep down, knew it couldn't be so. )

omgbruce/clark. I am seriously one of the most elitist batman fans ever (I didn't even go see te superman movie, because of my rivalry), but holy hell, that is possibly the hottest thing ever. *bows before you*

Seriously, though...I think Bruce and Clark compete to see who can be the angstiest super heroes with Daddy issues ever. Hee!

Well, I do love them both so much. I mean, I have huge amounts of love for all the members of the Justice League. And when it comes to Bats and Supes, I have a bit more love for Superman.

Psst. You should post this to worlds_finest. The more S/B, the merrier. ;)

That tension, that's what I love about the Batman/Superman relationship. Yet there's still an aspect of mutual respect and that, when it really comes down to it, they have each other's backs.
Yeah, I was a huge JL junkie when the cartoon was on and I couldn't stop thinking about what they'd all do if Clark just left. Oh, the angst.
Thanks for the tip. I'll post it there for sure. :)
