Eeeee! I have "I Will Surely Break" on one of my rec lists, and I happened to be rereading it (paper to write, procrastination, etc.) and then clicked on your journal on a whim and saw this. Yay! I like the three of them, once again, putting the pieces of one another back together, and I like that she's finally going with them. Thanks for this!

"She's going to come with us, Dean." Sam says in a low voice, and it's very nearly the first words he's spoken since they arrived. "We're going to ask her, and she's going to say yes, and we're going to drive away from all this." He takes a slow, measured breath and can't look at either of them when he speaks again.

"I'm going to get my happily ever after."

I was not expecting to break out in tears, but that did it for me.
