For what it's worth, a lot of those shouting, painted idiots are giving a LOT of money to the school, and while a lot of it does go back into athletics (obviously, given the chart) a fair bit of it goes into the school as a whole. At least, that's the way it ran at OSU, where I'm sure these numbers are pretty representative.

I understand that, and I could tolerate a certain level of it. But when a coach makes nearly three times as much as the university president, and more than five times as much as a dean, something is seriously skewed.
