I am going to post my final say about the NDN thing and then I am going to let it go. I am pretty pissed off that I was told it would be 3 thousand dollars to get a headstone and have it set for NDN's gravesite. I thought from the minute I was told this that it was bullshit. Turns out I am right. I called the cemetery and they told me it was 28.00

Ok, so when you asked the cemetery about the setting fee, did you ask what types of head stones they allow for? Because many cemeteries have only certain ones that are allowed. Did you ask if that $150 one is even allowed there? Because without the cemetery confirming it there's no way of knowing that that's even an option.

And really, NDN deserves better than the cheapest one possible. I fully agree with the comment in the previous post saying that he deserves the grandest one allowed.

So where exactly are you getting this information that people involved in it are being paid? Because first you say that you think they might be getting paid and then you say that you're offended that they didn't say they were from start- which implies that they are definitely getting paid. Where exactly is the proof that they are getting paid?

You say that you "personally checked it out" but it seems more like you jumped to a conclusion and then did just enough research to partially back it up, and then filled in the rest with more jumped-to-

When Crispy said 3k I thought maybe someone must be getting a profit. THEN when I was told by the cemetery, and yes I did ask size, location, etc... In fact, the lady I spoke with remembered his funeral because of the "odd" people that were there (I took that to mean the goth scene) She knew exactly where I was talking about. She gave me the sizes allowed for that plot. I then KNEW someone had to be getting a profit or damned close to it. Like I said, if you aren't doing your show for this for free then screw you. Crispy himself told me 3k at Mercury Lounge about a week before the page went up. Does he deserve the most expensive headstone ever? Sure, why not. BUT if it is on a donation bases propriety demands that it start small and THEN move up. That is decent. It's tacky of the family to expect other people to pay for extravagance and I don't think they would. When this can be done for 3 hundred dollars, even 6, it is rediculous for anyone to expect and be so bold as to ask for more.

I thought it would be expensive too. When I started checking even the huge marble headstones with marble flower stands and what not were only about 700.00. Do I hope that no one is taking a profit from it? Sure. I asked about why I was told 3 K by crispy and he never answered me. Look, I hate the fact that someone might use this as gaining ground. It does happen. do I think it would happen in our group? Hope not. But I don't see anyone standing up saying here is an itemization of what it is going to be. There are people in our group who don't have a mean bone in their body and there are those that are waiting for you to turn around so they can screw you. I just want people to be straight up. That's all I ask. 3k is insane for what this is for and I just want people to think about it.

I agree with your post here, Tega. For NDN I will donate as much as I can to get him a decent stone. Does he need a huge mosoleum with his name in bronze? Nah.

From what I know of NDN, he would want something modest but a lot of people to visit. Time with friends/family was most important to him in life. He never had fancy cars, big houses or other luxuries...he was rich on friends. If people visit, that's what is important, NOT the extravagance.

And from what I know of YOU, I know for a fact that you have done your homework on this issue. You don't stop until you get ALL the answers and I believe that you have a more realistic monetary goal in mind for this project.

Well this whole thing has definitely got me thinking, and I hope that none of this turns out to be true, because I have already backed off the scene alot after some other bullshit has happened and this will drive me over the edge.

I'm sad to say that we've backed off a lot too. When Steven and Britney did what they did to Joy that really was it for me. I just couldn't handle the bullshit anymore. Morgan is a lot happier without it but we both miss the music alot!
