Sad tara, sick friend

Just got back from the hospital. Most of you probably aren't aware, but a friend of mine is at Mt. Sinai right now. She's pretty sick with colitius which is basiaclly ulcers in her colon, and infection, and bleeding, and lots of pain, and she can't eat anything, and she can barely drink, and I just want her to get better. Oh no, that's awful! I hope she get's better soon, and you have my sympathies. It really is tough to stand at the bed side knowing there's nothing you can do to help (though I imagine being in the bed is probably worse).
