Ficlet for sspring92

Sep 08, 2009 17:00

Looks like carnivalgirl and I were on the same wavelength today.

This little piece of Lupin family fluff goes out to sspring92, in honor of her birthday. Hope this helps brighten your day, hon.

Aww...This is probably no kind of review, but this little fic has made me so damn excited that I've got a baby on the way. I can't wait to nurse and see first steps and hear first words and have every annoyance melted away by the simplicity of family. What a lovely, lovely fic. I love f-list birthdays. :)

It's a lovely review, thank you! And it is exciting... and scary, and wonderful, and hard, and rewarding in ways that are hard to describe.

I'm glad you enjoyed it, and that it helped if only a little. I hope each day gets a bit better!

Great minds think alike? Or rather, my average mind thinks like your great mind? ;)
I really enjoyed this, little Teddy was so cute! And I really liked the line "He's happy, he's loved, his mum kicks Dark Wizard arse..." because it's true! And of course the "muh-muh" was great. It's such a great little fic.

Aw, this is a wonderful family moment, but Tonks's worries feel very real, too.

I love the way Remus can be proud of her without putting himself down! He's learning, heh.

And Teddy, aww, very sweet.

Thanks. Having been there, done that with the working mom thing, I know that the only thing more difficult than staying home when you're used to having a career, is going to work and feeling that you're missing out on something vital.

And I can't decide whether my favorite age is around one (Teddy's age here), or three, five, ten... there's always something to look forward to. (And something to dread ... driving lessons, heh.)

Can Remus pop over and tell Mr Gilpin the one about taking your shoes off from the garden? ;)

I do like f-list birthdays and sharing in the fic presents. And I really like happy Lupin family moments. I loved Remus' speech to Tonks, telling her exactly what Teddy and he are so proud of her for. "He's my son, isn't he?" ♥

heh, MrTegdoh and I (and all three little Tegdoh's) are both guilty of that one!

I'm glad you enjoyed this Lupin family moment. I was afraid I was veering into maudlin territory there for a moment.
