A/N: First OhgoJima fic ever written. This pair has been killing me for days already, thanks to all those fics I've read with them as the characters. I'm an OHGOJIMA shipper now~!
No, I wouldn't ask him about that topic. I swear I won't. Suzuka promised herself while walking on her way home. Beside him was Yuto who seemed preoccupied by something thus in a deep thought.
"Hey Yuto-kun" she called out.
"Hmmm?"
Suzuka couldn't speak, she was just to embarrased to ask about it.
"Ah, nothing. I forgot what I'm supposed to tell."
Yuto just nodded and smiled.
Suzuka sighed heavily, thinking a way to escape this mess.
This is unbelievable. I can't believe why I agreed on that deal
-Flashback-
"Argh. I can't believe our teacher is absent today. I didn't sleep last night just to finish those activity sheets she gave for an assignment. MAAAAATH, why do you have to be so hard?" Mirai complained as she sat down next to her best friend.
Suzuka laughed,"You're not the only one who feels that way."
"How can you say that when you almost top every exam?You're so lucky you can understand those tricky questions and those confusing numbers."
"Silly. Don't worry I'll help you study next time." Suzuka assured Mirai.
Mirai's attention suddenly changed when she saw Yuto and Ryosuke entering the classroom, distracting their classmates with their noisiness.. She looked at Suzuka afterwards.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" Suzuka asked suspiciously.
Mirai grinned.
"What?"
"Well, nothing. I just noticed that you and Yuto seemed to be very close nowadays."
She was surprised by her question. Not sure of what she's going to say.
"We're close ever since then, you now."
"And?" Mirai challenged.
"I have no idea what you're trying to say."
"Awww, come on, it's just me. Nobody will know. I can keep a secret." Mirai said excitedly.
"We're just friends, simply friends, and nothing more but friends." Suzuka said seriosly.
"What do you think of him then?"
Suzuka blushed. Oh how she hates it when she's being asked about something like that on the spot.
"A friend."
"Oh~~Really? Then why are you blushing?" Mirai obviously can't hide her laughter.
"it's not like between you and Ryosuke."
With that Mirai stopped asking her. She can't deny the fact that she and Ryosuke are secretly dating, well, not with her.
Suzuka laughed, it's the only way Mirai would drop the subject.
"But I really don't believe that nothing's going on between the two of you." Mirai murmured, obviously not giving up.
How I wish there is Suzuka said in her mind
"Believe me. It's really nothing. It just seems like we're so close since we're elected as the class representatives, there are things we need to do together."
"But I think he likes you" Mirai commented.
Suzuka blushed.
"See~~. You're blushing again!"
"Ah. stop it." Suzuka said while covering her face.
"WAH! I knew it.! I knew it!. I knew it!" Mirai shouted, jumping with joy.
"SHHH. Everybody's staring at you."
What suzuka said was right. Everbody, including Yuto and Ryosuke are staring at them.
"Sorry" Mirai apologized.
Her classmates then went back to what they're doing, much to their relief.
"I think he likes you too." Mirai whispered.
Suzuka made a face, "That's highly impossible."
"You'll never really know. Why don't you ask him?"
Suzuka's eyes widened with what her friend suggested, "NO. I ABSOLUTELY WON'T ASK SOMETHING LIKE THAT."
"You two are close. He won't mind telling you."
"Why don't you just ask Ryosuke to do that for you?"
"I know you will not agree to do that, so, let's make a deal." Mirai mumbled, ignoring what Suzuka just said
"What deal?"
"If you get a score higher than mine on our next exam, then forget what I said earlier, but if i got a score higher than you, you WILL ask him yourself."
"Are you sure about this?" Suzuka asked
Mirai nodded
"Okay. DEAL." Suzuka agreed, a bit confident that she will definitely win this deal.
As we all know, expect the unexpected.
A miracle suddenly happened, Mirai scored a point higher than Suzuka.
-End of flashback-
"Suzu-chan?" Yuto shook her shoulder, bringing her back to her senses.
"Huh?"
"You've been spacing out for quite some time. Are you okay?"
"Yeah. i'm fine. No worries." she smiled
"You know, you can always tell me what's bothering you"
I have to do this once and for all
"Uh. Yuto-kun?" she called out shyly.
The tall guy slightly tilted his head looking at her.
"Can I ask you something?"
Yuto nodded.
"You see, I think out of all the boys in class, you seemed to be the only one who's not going out yet."
"Uh. Then?"
Suzuka sweared at that time that Mirai will be surely sorry for making her do this.
"Everybody's interested about it, if you already have someone you like?"
Yuto grinned
"By the word 'everybody', does that mean it includes you?" he asked charmingly.
Suzuka's face turned bright red, "I guess so"
Yuto can't help but to smile, knowing that she's concerned whether or not he already have someone he likes.
"No one. I love someone."
Love. So it's something serious.
"Oh. She must be really lucky." She felt a sudden pain deep within her.
"Definitely. I've loved her ever since I met her."
How she wished she never asked anything about this "girl" he likes.
"Really? Can I meet her? Well, if you don't mind. I promise I won't tell anyone."
"Promise?"
Suzuka nodded.
"Do you want to meet her now?"
"Can I?" she asked her back, "but I bet she won't be in school anymore if we go back right? Why don't you call her?"
Call. Really, what a stupid thing of me to say.
"Okay then."
She's didn't expect that Yuto would really tell her who he likes. Mixed emotions filled her.
Yuto took out his phone, dialed the number and phones the person.
Suddenly, her phone vibrated in her bag.
"Oh, wait, I think I'm getting a call."
Suzuka moved a bit far from Yuto, slightly facing him.
"Hello?"
She heard nothing on the other line so she decided to hung up, but then, she heard a very familiar voice. The voice that is music to her ears, the one she's been dying to hear all day. The one that she knew so well...
"I LOVE YOU"
The voice of the person she loved so much. The voice of Yuto Nakajima.
