so the ammonia in my aquarium is apparently OVER 9000 and the pH levels are getting there. DAILY WATER CHANGES, HERE I COME. it's on, bitches, etc.

my poor little fishies ;-; how does the ammonia even GET that high? stupid new aquariums. stupid stupid.

but the medicine seller is here to defeat the evil toxic ammonia demons. *points at icon*

too much food and/or waste in the water, or not enough water conditioner, or it's a new tank, or the filter sucks, or your plumbing sucks, or your socks don't match, or your wallpaper disturbs the fish. ANY REASON, REALLY 8D

I change Gilligan's water like.. once a month. He doesn't have a filter (but apparently Bettas are the only kind that can survive in still water without one) and he gets pretty poopy sometimes. I did read that if they don't eat the pellets you feed them, you're supposed to take them out because of that. He's a year and a half old! <3
