So, it seems as if I only update when I'm sad, which may give off the illusion that I'm always a depressed shell of a person only feeling that the world cares to read my thoughts when my life is low and they can laugh and be glad they're not me ( Read more... )

It really depends. I mean, I got everything I expected out of an Indiana Jones movie (except my beloved nazis, how I miss them) but at the same time, the ending affirms in my mind that George Lucas has lost HIS gorram mind. I refrain from talking too much about it, as some of the people I talk to on here plan to see it but haven't yet. I think it was a GOOD movie... but I'm not sure if it fully deserves to be called an Indiana Jones movie. But, overall, 8 out of 10.

Aw, c'mon man. He chases mythological artifact, and mythological theories behind it turn out to be true and overpowering to those who seek it irresponsibly. That's a Jones movie all the way.

And the Soviets are Nazi stand ins, which happens even in the post WWII novels.
