I woke up to the news that Obama had made it today.
I thought it wouldn't affect me so much - after all, Obama's first and foremost the American president, and so I don't think foreign politics will change much towards multilateralism.

And yet, this morning the sun seems to be shining a bit brighter than usual and I couldn't stop smiling all the way to work. Now, at least there's a chance; there's hope.

It's so crazy. This whole election has been such a circus, and now that it's all over, it does feel like a brand new day.
