ooh, fantastic concept and what great editing! Your pacing and use of music is superb; like at 1:39-1:41 those three fast cuts chronicling the story of the photo couldn't be more perfect and then the entire 'slowly rebuilding' part with long clips flows so perfectly too. Not to mention what it does to analyse/interpret Manhattan. And I love that the third chorus of 'people they come together' is about Watchmen - the way I understand the vid, it's about Manhattan's 3 last connections to humanity (Janey, Laurie and the Watchmen), slowly disintegrating.

Thank you! One of the first things I considered when I was in the planing stage was to try to show how he sees time, so I'm glad to hear that it worked!

This is so awesome! I love the editing, it's all so seamless and it just flows so, so well. The vid really brought back to me just how much I love the movie and Manhattan's character. I love your matching of the clips to the lyrics and the way you mix up what's going on with Janey or Laurie and the overall storyline / wider issues, because there really is no difference to him, they're all tiny human problems that he's just so tired of. I especially love the bit between 1:50-1:59 because it perfectly shows his perception of time as simultaneous and because I took it to also be about the rebuilding of Jon into Manhattan. Also, the song choice is great, I feel like it matches the character in tone perfectly. Seriously, great, great vid. Downloading! :)

Thank you, that's exactly what I was going for. That section was kind of the reason why I wanted to vid it to him in the first place lol, the rest just fell into place after that.
