Sim Scenes - Week 2

May 22, 2009 20:41

So this is my entry for sim scenes. The challenge was to create a story using only pictures in 10 slides or less based on this theme: toys - torment - shy.

So here's mine. I have my complaints, but I kind of like how it turned out.

That ten picture limit is a tough one. It's really cool to see what people come up with within those limitations, though. I really liked the juxtaposition between then and now in this one. :)

Thanks. I wasn't sure if it was as understandable as I wanted it to be, so I toned down the contrast a little bit. I'm really happy with how that turned out. :)

Aww, I really liked that one - and usually, I can't understand what is going on in it. I did there though... it's so sweet! In a sad sorta way xP <3

Thanks so much. :) I'm glad I was able to get the point across. I was so afraid no one would understand it.

It is kind of sad, isn't it? I almost want to post a sequel to show that he ends up with a happy life. Haha.

I liked this one. It took me a couple of read throughs to get it, but it's pretty clear to me. I feel for the guy. You did well.

Thank you. :) I think in some ways it's not hard to associate with him because a lot of people have been disappointed by childhood crushes. I know I have.

Aww, that was so sad and sweet. The aged teddy bear really sold it for me. :)

Haha, good to know I tugged at your heartstrings a bit. The aged teddy bear was actually the very first thought when I read the prompt. Then I saw torment and shy and thought about a little boy who was tormented by a girl he never had the courage to ask out. And tada! This idea popped into my head. :)
