12422 as of right now. The official tally for 11/08/05 is 13336, so I've got less than 1k to write when I get up - and I've got the day off, so I might gradually sneak ahead a bit.

Bah. I know I have 7,000, and it might even be 8,000. But I was sortof stuck in "I have a speech and a test tomorrow and 6 prints due on Wednesday!" type of funk. I'll write plenty more at work today, I think.
Crap. I've gotta make up about 5,000 words...well, it's alright. The point of my book that I am at can afford that many words.

Um. I'm desperately juggling work and school just like last fall, only this time I have a girlfriend and NaNoWriMo too? That's pretty much the sum of it.
