This Little Piggy Doesn't Know What to Do.

Working at B-Dubs entails working until at least midnight most nights, if not closer to one or two in the morning. As such, my body has adjusted to such a schedule, and I usually can't fall asleep before at least three, four, or sometimes even five in the morning. You should do it. Sometimes you just have to make a crazy change to force yourself out of a rut. And staying in a job that you hate so much is never a good idea! So I totally get where you are right now and wish you the very best of luck with whatever you decide to do. Maybe we should just sign up to Starfleet, eh Captain?

Also, it's not self-pity wallowing! And if it is, who cares, you're allowed!

I still read. And honestly, self-pity wallowing is 80% of why LJ still exists. (20% = fanfic and furries.)

we havent talked in forever but i still check this thing once in a while, so your words are being heard. if you literally have to force yourself out of the car to go to work, it is definitely not a good thing. you could be happier somewhere else. if military is the answer, go for it, but know that you will be missed. whatever you decide will be the right decision for you =)

dependency is an interesting thing. yes, all those people depend on you right now. but they can adjust if need be. nothing in life is that certain and, no matter how many tantrums are thrown, people can adapt. if at the end of the day, you have made everyone else happy but yourself, that's not a good sign. only so much pleasure can be wrought from pleasing others and there comes a point where taking care of yourself has to take top priority (and that is not selfish at all..it is necessary). if you enlist, it's not like they are going to throw you on a plane as soon as you sign the contract. you'll have time to let people know so that all of you can make the necessary preparations. do what you need to do and the support will follow.

and hang in there, k?
