I know it would have been more than I really could have afforded, but I should have gotten tickets for tonight. Mom would have loved it.

Out of curiosity only, how much were tickets? It was a huge fun thing to watch it; lots of cool behind-the-mike stuff. Did you watch?

I waited to look for tickets til I was sure the Yanks were out of the playoffs (technically they're still alive, but barely) so I knew this actually would be the last game. When I looked first, tickets were in the $400 range each (and only went up from there) and none of my conacts could help me.

I did watch the game -- and I'm more-than-willing to admit it made me teary-eyed.
