Curving Fate (Prologue)

Summary: Donghae believed that he would be way more crazier than his seatmate, Kyuhyun when falling in love

“Donghae…” A low, anxious voice could be heard in a sudden. The source of it was clearly in lack of confidence and hints of edginess could notably be found on the voice. Donghae turned his head to look at the speaker as he found a very rare unconfident look from his seatmate, Kyuhyun.
“I think I’m going to do it now.” Kyuhyun spoke again as he received no reply from the undeniably good looking guy sitting beside him. Donghae just stared at him carefully as he noticed a bouquet of pink roses Kyuhyun held under his desk. He faked a mocking smile before produced the words,
“Finally.”
Kyuhyun just answered the remarks with a slight nervous curve on his lips but then he started to show uncomfortable looks once again.
Kyuhyun never been this nervous for his entire life even he believes that not even in his past lives. But he had decided what the exact thing he’ll do that very moment, to confess. And there is no word of turning back in his vocabulary.
After took encouragement words within himself, he stood without warning with the bouquet of best roses he managed to buy earlier that morning and walked at a certain fair-skinned skinny figure sitting few meters away. As he got closer, he fixed his messed up facial expression and brought up his usual cool one and also fixed the position of full framed spectacles sitting on the bridge of his nose.
Donghae on the other hand could only eyed Kyuhyun blankly as his turn to get anxious rapidly forming.
What if he accepts him?
He focused his line of vision to Kyuhyun who was standing in front of Lee Hyukjae with his confident flirting smile as he produced some words Donghae didn’t manage to catch. He failed to notice that together with him, the whole class was watching the confession scene as well. They were surprised when seeing Kyuhyun, one of the school’s heartthrob was bringing the bouquet filled with beautiful roses. They were clueless until he found Kyuhyun walked toward a certain quiet guy in their class and that moment they realized that Kyuhyun was going to confess. With those roses certainly, how romantic.
Donghae continued to eye the scene as he was secretly hoping the smile in Kyuhyun’s face will flatter in any moment. He inwardly hoped that Hyukjae will reject his confession. He totally was not his best friend supporter when it comes to his love life. Specifically, with a certain guy his friend was having crush at.
Not after what had happened.
Hyukjae’s back was facing him so he didn’t have any idea about his expression or response. He could only predict from what Kyuhyun showed as he was facing at his direction.
He continued to stare until he realized a shocking, more likely heartbreaking scene. A smile formed on Kyuhyun’s lips and it got even brighter and brighter in any split second given. Kyuhyun then turned his attention to Donghae as he mouthed the words,
“I’ve. Done. It.”
Donghae believed that he had gone pale.
