I finished with my training as an ELT.  It's been decided that I'm going to be an instructor.  So I get to teach production students basic radcon and chemistry, and I get to teach and train future ELT's.  Sounds like a blast, especially at this command.  So I guess I'm stuck in Charleston, SC for another two years unless I get picked for officer, ( Read more... )

lol. I mix up comely and homely too.

I can't figure out if you mean Ants the movie or actual ants.

Oh, and Christian bands always try to friend you if they remotely know you, or even if they just know a friend and a friend, because they tend to plateau right at the size where they think they could be a worthwhile band but they need one more hard push to make it. All the Christian kids want to boost the success of the band, because it's Christian - so that's where they quit their day jobs - but there aren't enough of them to actually supply the band with a sustainable income, or end their need to incessantly self-promote via Myspace (as in, hire someone else to promote them who actually knows what he/she is doing.) Anyway, that's my somewhat prejudiced take on the situation.

Nah, I meant actual ants, but it did make me think about the movie. It brought back some memories.
That's an interesting take on Christian bands. Though, I wouldn't listen to these bands even if they weren't religious. So, it's just icing on the cake... or just more dirt on the pile of dirt.
