This is easily the most interesting and enjoyable relationship/non-relationship (or whatever the hell it is) I've ever been in. It's so different in so many different ways, from every side... it's just nuts. All of it
( Read more... )
My whole family, including Mom, Aunt MJ, Gramma, and myself are still vehemently against this...with your welfare in mind of course, but it seems that part of the thrill of the girls you're finding lately is that they are so desperately wrong for you and off-limits. You're sick Henry ;-)
Just out of curiously... Why is everyone so vehemently opposed to this?
The only thing I could think of as being a hazard is the kidlets. Putting kids in the middle of relationships is bad. And if they've met you, they're already in the middle. They get attached, you get attached... It can be really complicated for you, for her, and for them. Granted, if she's chosen to embark upon a relationship with you, she's probably considered all of this. But it's still a situation to approach with caution.
It's also typically a terrible idea to date people you work with. Which is precisely why me and Brian Stowell lasted a grand total of 3 months. Hah.
Seriously though, you know how uptight my family is. I really enjoy the girl and her younger kid. I haven't met the five year old; I want to make sure it's serious before I get involved with that, you know?
Also, things are super mega complicated with her and I and we aren't really together but not really apart at the same time.
I'm opposed to this mostly because its a bad idea.
Something about the girl still being in love with her ex...who is IN JAIL makes me opposed to this....also things obviously get too complicated with kids involved....and you hit it on the head in your original post Henry. "its nuts"
Plus she seems awfully controlling for someone who still seems to want to screw around with the ex/get back with him/whatever....I'm just sayin'.
Wild sex does not a healthy relationship make! If you don't believe me, ask brother Jeff.

It isn't that she's in love with her ex per-se, it's that she needs to be sure that I'm capable of being a man. She's a good woman, Maggie.
Also, it's not about the really awesome sex. nyah nyah
