[Delayed Response:] Wow, I can't believe it's been something like four months since I last posted on my livejournal. o.o; I mean, I know I'm lazy, but really! *face palm* Feel free to smack me around in revenge if you like

Hello, so long time, pleased to see you are still around LJ !isoyamanamiNovember 8 2011, 12:48:44 UTC
Your new tattoo is very cool, you have been so courageous! \o But- but I just wanted to pray you to be careful with the other one, making a tattoo upon the scar tissue is one of the wrongest things one can do! >.<""

D: Really? I was told (by a tattoo artist) it's perfectly acceptable and completely safe? I know that it makes the tattoo more likely to screw up and not come out right, but that's why I was thinking of putting the middle of the stargate (the event horizon-- the blue part) over the scar tissue since it doesn't need perfect straight lines, just wave-y blueness. Is that wrong?
How is it one of the worst things you can do? :O
Also, thank you! I'm glad you like it-- I love it so very much even thought it's caused me a lot of misery already (damn body being prone to infections!).

It's dangerous because in that spot the skin is very delicate and it can easily be damaged, it has already had a trauma and it has lost its healing capability, so the better is to avoid any contact with something that can re-damage it. I know it's sad to be told but very often also professional people can say such things in order to get more money, I know it's a pessimistic point of view but I see the same quite in any field, so I don't think you have to feel too bad for what that artist said.
Well, the worse would be to have a wound on the same spot.
Plus, I think you don't need to hide your scare because it's a sign of all your bravery, more significant and effective than any tattoo!!!
The last time I forgot to wish you good luck with the NaNoWriMo contest, you seem very good at writing!

Hmmm, that does make a lot of sense! The scar isn't a small one, either, so it probably would be better not to mess with it. It's a few inches tall and about as wide as my thumb (horizontally, not vertical). It's from when I lost my kidney (it kept ripping back open again after a period of a few weeks-- that's why it got so big
( ... )
Thank you!!! ♥ *grins widely* I love it very much as well. ♥
I can tell you now that it won't be the only Harry Potter tattoo. I need something that less subtly describes my love of Snape. The "always" is, of course, a reference, but... however, I don't think I want an image, exactly? That might be a little awkward. ♥
Hello. :))) I should know all about lurking by now, as it'd been seven months that I hadn't updated my journal until I decided to post something...about a month ago. *sheepish grin* Oh well...
Your tattoo is so cool. :))) I have to second the first comment here, though. Be careful with your second one.
lol! Lurking, it's what we do! Scouring LJ unnoticed and unseen, enjoying ourselves but leaving not a hint that we were there (except, perhaps, our internet history).
Seven months, eh? xD Quite the amount of time! I seem to be stuck on lurking ever since... February. I just pop back in every few months (though, this time it took longer than normal since I've been especially lazy).
So, what have you been up to? I've really missed having friends to talk to (both online and off)! ♥
Oh, thanks! I really love my tattoo myself. I guess I'm gonna have to start asking around, though, about tattooing over scar tissue because I thought that was fine. ): Anyway, that's unlikely to happen for at LEAST a year or two.
1) I need to build up my pain tolerance-- that dinky thing on my foot took an hour and it's mostly one color.
2) I'd like to lose a little weight before I tattoo anything on my stomach. *sheepish*
