i keep looking for the elusive research that I've heard cited by women who are part of the "fat movement." apparently there's statistics on stuff like how the supposed "ideal body weight" is actually less healthy than a weight 20 pounds over that. Other issues mentioned are how the whole medical sector goes along with telling women that they face health risks by being overweight--but often times these risks aren't nearly as great as the risks that come with dieting.

I almost think that the standard of what is "fat" should be changed. Because "plus-sized models" are models who are size 10 and over. Size 10 shouldn't be "plus-size"! That's essentially saying that size ten models are fat. Which is stupid.

I also can't find the statistics on the average weight of women in the US compared to say, the weight of these supposed "plus size" models

yeah. actually i guess most "plus-sized" clothes are in size 14 or above... just not the models. and that means that if you're size 14 or above you can't find those sizes in most stores?

That's kind of really disturbing.

And it reminds me of when Mike used to be like "Can you see your ribs through your shirt? Cause that's hot."
