While procrastinating on my ten WIPs, I attempted the bredlik poetry challenge on Tolkien Short Fanworks. (If you don't know what bredliks are, it's described in that post!)

What a cool combo of colors! I bet it looks especially pretty when it starts shedding and the wind blows gold everywhere...

Beautiful Glorfindel-as-a-tree painting - reminds me of the laburnum tree I grew up with in my dad's garden. Beautiful and also deadly.

I imagine some Orcs would agree with that description of G. Unless Orc aesthetics are very different.
