Digital SLR

I bought my first SLR in 1993 in Irvine, a Minolta X370, used from a guy in his sixties whose hands shook too much anymore for a manual focus camera. Was amazed with how much better photos I could get than with a point-and-shoot. Eventually moved to a Nikon N60, a couple of Canon EOS Rebels, but somewhere along the line I gave those away; I think ( Read more... )

We had been thinking about getting the digital rebel. Ray would like to take better pictures while hiking (Although he does a pretty good job with the disposaroids). Just like everything else, though, we have to wait until I get a job!

That's Ray's word, I think, for one-time use cameras, which are nice for hiking because they're small and light and if something happens to them, you're only out like 8 bucks.

Disposable+polaroid = disposaroid! Of course, they're generally Kodak cameras, but who's counting?
