Ray wants to see that, but he's working all the time lately to make up for his lazy unemployed wife ;-). Anyway, I was going to go to the actual radio performance of PHC last night at Tanglewood, but the friends who I've gone with for the last two years have a two-month old and were too busy around the house, so we ended up just going for a walk and watching a movie instead. Maybe next year!

Argh! *sounds of seppuku, strangled gargling, death throes, etc.* I can't believe you didn't go! I got on their website last night after the movie looking for chances to attend one of their shows, and saw that they'd been in the Boston area the last few nights, and hoped you were able to make it. Alas.

Well, all is not lost...I just heard on WGBH radio, which is the Boston NPR affiliate that carries PHC, that they're showing yesterday's broadcast tonight on WGBH TV. I'll actually see more of it than I would have out there, but minus the Tanglewood ambiance. We usually sit on the lawn outside the shed and have a picnic, sip wine etc...sigh. I actually have tickets to a Yo-yo Ma/Emmanuel Ax concert later this summer, but I think I'm actually going to have to give those up, too because they're during the week sort of late at night (8:30) and I'll be working days that week. It's at least a two hour drive out to Lenox. My dad is going to ask my old music teacher from middle school, who also happens to be one of his former colleagues/poker buddy if he wants the tickets. Damn.

It's playing at the Orange Park AMC, which I guess is about 50 mi from where you are. And this is the weekend of the movie's widest distribution, so it ain't gonna get any closer than that. Oh well.

E! Good to hear from you. Wow, you're up early. Or late, I guess. Assuming you're still on the West Coast. Happy 4th! Drop me a line.
