Now that I have a real camera again, I've started a Picasa web album (part of the sprawling technoconglomeration by which Google will take over the earth). Yesterday we caught the tail end of the Fuel Systems PumpkinFest, my department's fall picnic thingy. Okay, D, funny thing... someone you know bought the same camera outfit in October. And to think, I could have used you as a reviewer before I bought it. BTW, what do you think of the camera so far? I really like mine, but there are some things that they could have done better.

Hey Bry - I actually just sold the 18-135mm on eBay and bought the 18-200mm VR lens. I get reasonably sharp shots handheld down to 1/8~1/10s now. Great for dim landscape/scenery/etc.; not so much for shots of the boys in low light because they move so much. I really still want some f/2.0 or f/2.8 zoom for that, and for subject isolation. Not like that's gonna happen this decade ( ... )
